Why everybody keeps trying back HOOK by Mike Matessino? Didn't they say it is impossible to release a Sony at the moment or am I wrong?

Because Hook was hinted to as a Go after the discovery of better masters. Over a year ago.

And Sony is still reportedly open for business. (Last year's Spider-Man)

Warner and Disney are the Untouchables.

Speaking of Untouchables....

PROJECT 7 - Friday the 13th, part 4, Ultimate Cut??

Project 7 is probably the 2023 movie (which I'm guessing is either Thanksgiving, Good Burger 2 or Rebel Moon?) they got the rights to. They'll probably release F13 pt.4 Ultimate Cut for it's 40th anniversary whenever friday the 13th will be next year.

If all your predictions are correct than there´s only LICENCE TO KILL for me in the bag.

Probably some STAR TREK Volumes will be taking some of the 8 spots as well ...

I expected Vol. 3 would be in this batch but apparently not.

Spiderman 2 and The Godfather Part 2 would be nice welcomes but doesn't make more sense on next year as it's their anniversaries?

It´s funny that with all the sequel and reissue mania going on nobody seems to have noticed that in September MV mentioned two Universal titles from the 60s which should still be released on LLL this year:

"That leaves Universal....we have some great projects lined up with them, two of them scheduled for this year both from the 1960s."
https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?forumID=1&pageID=2&threadID=152090&archive=0

Do so few people on this board have any interest in 60s scores from Universal anymore?

And it is also funny that apparently also almost nobody noticed that just a few weeks ago in France Stéphane Lerouge in his interview about the Williams box told his interviewer that he had first wanted to release Williams´THE RARE BREED on this set, but that the complete original score is already in the works and would soon be released by another label anyway. So it is obvious that this other label will probably either be LLL or Intrada.
In the end - when you just put two and two together - it could even be that THE RARE BREED is now one of those two Universal titles from the 60s which have been announced by MV.

Bond. Only Bond. cool

Realistically, they'd only release one Bond title per batch.

Sometimes we miss comments from label heads here. I missed that one, for example. And not everybody necessarily puts the two together.

But I'm still waiting for a number of film and television titles from the 1960's.

Are you f***ing serious????

Can’t you just at least wait until this year’s releases are announced before you start asking about next year?

FFS!!!

James

No. I'm not serious.
