MACARTHUR.

Honestly, that's it. There's nothing else on my list: that IS the list. Yes, it would be nice if we got a second batch of expanded Bond scores, though I wouldn't bother with the ones that are only a few minutes (or even seconds) from complete. I can't get obsessed with having every last note and there's a point at which such minimal upgrades simply aren't worth the time and money. MACARTHUR, even as a straight reissue of the old album program, will fill the only difficult/expensive hole in my Goldsmith shelves.

The Hearse.

Just curious Peter but as you’ve been in various bits of ‘the biz’ have you had a go at getting this one out with no success.

When this topic comes up there are always folk that post lists of massive amounts of titles.
Surely a Holy Grail title is one or maybe two titles that are your ‘ultimate’ wants…not just every score you’re like? I don’t remember King Arthur and his Knights on a quest to find ‘sack loads’ of Holy Grails!
And in the spirit of that…….HIGHLANDER!!

Nonsense. More than one grail have a lot of holes.

Glad to see some lists that actually include soundtracks written before 1980. And glad to see some love for Don Costa's great score to Madigan.

For me, personally - I don't really have Holy Grails, but I sure would like to have Madigan, Night of the Following Day, Incident in San Francisco (TV movie with a great score), the original music only tracks for The Best Years of Our Lives, Yanks - stuff like that.

Exactly. Or at the very least, one holy grail at a time.big grin
Doesn't make any sense to have more than one "holy grail", or it's just a mere wish list of titles you find interesting. Even more interesting that some titles some people mentioned as "holy grails" have been released. So they can't be that much of a "holy grail" if it's not even worthwhile to seek these out. Arthur's knights sure made a lot of sacrifices to find that one holy grail, here, some people don't even seem to consult Google, eBay, or Soundrack Collector. smile

Pretty much anything not yet released in any official form for Horner:

Volunteers
I Love You To Death
Surviving
Captain EO
The Dresser
The Hand
Heaven Help Us (aka Catholic Boys(?))
The Lady in Red
Off Beat
P.K. and the Kid
The Stone Boy

But there are also a few C&C expansions that I would consider grails due to the original releases being somewhat short of what eventually ended up in the films:

Avatar
Radio
Sneakers
Swing Kids

Non-Horner only really leaves the John Williams scores for the Star Wars and Indy movies (all of them, C&C, done properly by a proper film music label).

I would also like to see a complete V for Vendetta. The original soundtrack is missing some good material

I think I'm pretty content. Anything that comes out now is icing, or maybe a cherry.
