Lionheart was and is a complete disaster. I am indeed a huge Goldsmith fan. And yes, I do thrive on the negativity and reactions. Not sure about the insults though. As someone who already actually owns the Lionheart release I can tell you it's far from a complete disaster. It is actually a great release! Then again, I'm not a sad internet troll like you

If it’s a hybrid disc (unlike when Varese did Star Trek: Nemesis many years ago), I will spend the $15 extra. If not, I’ll get the standard CD. All three Goldsmith/SA-CD albums (Timeline, The Great Train Robbery, and Star Trek: Nemesis) released in the early 2000's by Varese are hybrid discs. Indeed. Which is why I am somewhat puzzled by this parallel release of Matrix SACD and CD versions, especially as if each offers now something the other cannot easily provide.

I really like my LIONHEART. I'm glad I got it before they suspended shipping.

It's not the worst cover I have ever seen. But it is amongst the worst covers I have ever seen.

Obviously it's the "can't stop" part which I'd consider a problem, but you do you I guess. Yavar

Obviously it's the "can't stop" part which I'd consider a problem, but you do you I guess. Yavar If something is funny, you laugh. Like all the issues with Lionheart. That’s a good one that always gives me a chuckle. You and your "all the issues" give me a chuckle. It's so desperate and pathetic. Care to list all these supposed "issues"? Because aside from it being the score that composed itself (on one of the two spines; the other is fine) I don't believe any other issues have been brought up. Varese hasn't confirmed what was wrong with the packaging, so it's all speculation beyond that one spine matter. What do you know that we/I don't? I'll get you started on your list: 1. "LIONHEART" was carelessly left in the composer field on one of the two spines. 2. Varese stopped shipping the title to correct errors in the packaging (beyond #1, whatever these are is mysterious). They asked no one to send back the original versions and they are supplying new corrected versions free of charge to everyone who already got a copy. -- Now please, tell me what else there is -- can you give me issue #s 3, 4, and 5 of this supposed "complete disaster"? Maybe it's not too late for me to tell Varese what else needs to be fixed before they send out corrected versions...but I'm guessing you won't be able to tell me anything else that's wrong with the release. And to you I guess #2 is a problem? To me #1 is obviously a minor cosmetic issue and #2 is a solution, not a problem. But I guess some people are so immature they throw a fit if they have to wait an extra 4-6 weeks for gratification. I'm also waiting on my copy as are many people here, and yet you're the only person whining/laughing/whatever about this. Now, omitting the hammered dulcimer overlay from The Thorn Birds is a REAL Varese screwup, not cosmetic, and it was never ever fixed (or even publicly acknowledged). That one I've still never forgiven them for. Maybe if they release a longer Deluxe Edition of the score fixing that I'll finally get over it. But even that release with this significant flaw I wouldn't call "complete disaster" like you, Mr. Drama Queen. It bothers me and always will, but I'm able to enjoy and celebrate that album still. Once you get your corrected copy of Lionheart next month, what else will you find to complain about I wonder? Will you finally let the matter rest and enjoy your album, or will you keep harping on about the "disaster" for the rest of time? Yavar
