They used to be in the list from Jermaine, but I'm not seeing those two now. =\

Any chance you can send me copies?

Wish I had them, but I don't.

I will double-check in my files to see if they ever made it there, but I'm not sure they did. Sorry!

I really, really wish that these scores could get a physical release.

Some of the best Christmas themes out there! =(

With so much of Beck's stuff gettting released, why not this? Is it Netflix's fault?

Certainly can't be for lack of want, with some of the titles that actually get produced.

I sometimes wonder if the composer needs to be bothered enough to push for a physical release.
Pemberton seems to get his Netflix and other stuff out on CD.
John Powell and Marco Beltrami also get a lot of physical releases too.
You can sometimes tell, by composer, if it's likely to get a CD release or not.

That's true, but with all the Beck stuff that does get a release, in multiple formats (Ant-Man & The Wasp, Frozen, etc), you'd think whimsical holiday fodder would sell like hot cakes. Even though many of his recent non-blockbuster works (WandaVision, etc) haven't gotten physical copies, but they've absolutely gotten digital streaming albums. That's why it's so surprising that these haven't been made available at all.

Even if they're not a physical release, this could easily be on every streaming platform. I'd have played them a hundred times by now..!

Only the first Ant Man got a CD release, A-M&TW was digital only, as was Free Guy and his TV shows.
The biggest shock was his superb Frozen 2 score not getting a physical release, apart from a limited edition deluxe 3 disc set in Japan.
It didn't even get some highlights or a score suite on the official album release. Weird.
I've given up trying to second guess how or why a film or show garners a CD release.
But yeah, your point stands why these haven't gotten a digital release, or a Mondo style LP issue at least.

"Ant-Man & The Wasp," got a nice Mondo 2xLP release. =)

But absolutely to your point, it's baffling why Frozen 2 didn't get a release in the US.

I'm the same - almost given up on figuring out why or how which album gets released.

I will, however, continue to badger Mondo every time they post a new Beck score, and ask if they'll please do Christmas Chronicles!

So, for the handful of people who care....

I recently discovered that composer Tyler Westen updated his website and removed several of the tracks mentioned earlier. He also replaced a couple of them with improved sound, and added a couple of previously unreleased cues from CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES 2.

http://www.westenmusic.com/genres-1

Here's the rundown:

The new cues from CC2 are:

Airport Shuttle (1:03)
Protection (:57)

The cues with upgraded sound (i.e., higher bitrates) are:

"I'm Santa Clause" (1:32) from CC1
"Good Sleigh Ride" (1:17) from CC2

And two cues with upgraded sound, but unfortunately shorter than previously posted cues are:

"Belsnickel is Watching" (:56), part of the cue "An Elf's Revenge" (2:32) that Westen had previously posted but which is no longer available
"One Shot Left" (1:14), the first part of the cue "One Shot Left" (2:00) that Westen had previously posted but which is no longer available.

This is all exhausting, and would be moot if one of the labels could get it together to release both of these terrific scores.

Gosh, I wish these scores would just get released already... I still need to track down "Learn To Fly".
