I think the very aspect of producing just ONE CD is an impressive feat - from the idea to getting the rights to finding the tapes etc. etc. So anyone who manages to get that done gets kudos to me, to say nothing of establishing a label that produces albums on a regular basis. I've been toying with the idea myself, but a brief research round proved just how much and far-reaching the work is.
So while I can disagree with the way a label chooses to present their albums, the respect for their general work goes without saying. I also think that criticism of a certain aspect of a label's release doesn't automatically mean you dislike boutique labels in general. The respect or appreciation is always implied, even when you criticize.

Couldn't have said it any better. The range of scores I can enjoy thanks to the efforts and care of all the labels is staggering
Hooonk and awesome tribute !!! But what CD is at the top of the right L ??
Everyone who thinks he can do better than LaLa, Intrada and the other fine labels - start your own label !! Would be interesting to see how long it survives with 30 minutes-'real'-albums

It's The Shawshank Redemption, one I have but I haven't played enough.
Let's not forget, our labels rescue, like righteous cowboys, great works from cigar-smoking land-baron film studios, who have long since moved on with their priorities.
