My take is that THE KEEP tracks are all original compositions from the film. The collection concept is 80-83 Virgin recordings. The TDI version was released in 1997 so it shouldn't be a part of this collection. Going with original recordings here. Plus it says they're all previously unreleased. All good signs. You make a good point. Perhaps this is sourced from the master of the alleged / abandoned 1983 Virgin album and Froese just reused those track titles when he rerecorded / remixed in 97. No matter what, I doubt we're getting key pieces like the opening titles, the stripped-down Moorland, snowman ending, etc. Hoping for at least original mixes!

As I always understood it, Virgin were gonna release an album for 'The Keep' in 1983, with 2 or 3 tracks from the film, and newly composed tracks. But because the film bombed, the album got shelved. Froese later remixed/rerecorded those tracks for the TDI release. Apparently, the album that will be in the box is the original 1983 version. I also remember that music from 'The Keep' is performed in the Dominion concert, also featured in the box. And as i know the film 'The Soldier' from beginning to end, i'll be giving my own track titles.

And its also known that Christopher Franke, when he left TD, took a lot of master tapes with him to the States.

I'd be very surprised if Paramount Ok'd the use of the soundtrack. Nah, it'll be the same content as on the TDI version, but the 1983 versions, not remixed-rerecorded-tangled.
