I just ordered but am confused - it says HERE that 30% will be deducted at checkout. I ordered eight titles and it sure didn't look like anything was deducted at checkout - was it? Shipping was free, so that part worked. 85 euros was the total for the eight, which included one 14 euro double set - everything else was 11 euros and change. So is the 30% reflected in the prices listed and if so then you ought to take the deducted at checkout off of here. If it was supposed to deduct and didn't, then what?

Well, it's quite easy, the price is discounted from the beginning, all products have 30% discount, otherwise, they would cost 16.95 instead 11.87. If we made another 30% discount at the checkout it would be 60%. Tomorrow we will eliminate that confuse "checkout" sentence in the website. I just fixed it here.

I figured that was it, but good that you removed the confusing sentence smile

Screw it.

I'd been waiting for this sale since I got my package from last years sale.
For an average of $12 per title shipped, I'm just going to take a leap of faith on a couple things. My batting average on the last sale, which was full of things never on my radar before, was extraordinarily high.

I do wish I'd held back from ordering some of these from Intrada a couple months ago because I could have saved a good chunk of dough- including almost $20 on that Anton Garcia Abril set alone. With these low edition sizes, and my unfamiliarity with how popular they might be outside this board, I didn't want to risk them selling out.

So far the only thing that has sold out on initial release, at least that I can recall, has been the Morricone title. Possibly the most recent Donaggio too.

No problems my end. Just checked two in stock titles, 15 copies of Masquerade left and 24 Silence of the Lambs.

Just ordered "a few" smile
Worked great on my end.

Especially great idea is to have a chance to filter out "in stock titles only"...

It would be also helpful to know if there are any titles with only a few remaining copies available...

It shows exacly how many copies are left in one's wishlist. Place a title of interest in your wishlist and it shows you how many copies are left. A pretty cool new feature.

Yes, I noticed that too... but it is not entirely definitive number as I expect that they haven't sold some 1440 copies of Isham's Dog's Journey since it was released only a few weeks ago - but probably pressed the first batch of eg 500 copies, sold 440 (or initially pressed 300 and sold 240 so far) and they can still press two more batches (=1000 more copies can be added on top of the current number) if there is a demand.

But with those 500/300 copies titles I'd expect that's the correct number...

I still can't access the new website with three browsers and only see an error 503 page by the Magento web hosting service. I already cleared the local DNS cache. My ISP's DNS server seems to associate http://www.quartetrecords.com/ with the old IP address.

Yep, still the same here. I've cleared everything and tried three different browsers too and still get the Magento page error. It's frustrating that other members are accessing the new site without any trouble, so what could be causing the issue for some and not others?

I hope it gets sorted soon as I'm eager to spend some serious soundtrack cash!

I believe that is not Quartet's problem, but a problem with your ISP ("Internet Service Provider").

I got my order in last night, I think the new website is great. I usually order my Quartet titles one at a time from third party resellers. I ended up going with the following 7:

The Long Goodbye
The Bride Wore Black
Cinema Paradiso
The Book Of Henry
Knock
Snofall
The Orphanage

Thanks for the great discount Quartet! Looking forward to all of these, and what you’ve got in store for us in the future!

Cool new website and great deal.
I couldn't resist having a dabble myself, as I've only got about 200 new CD's to be getting stuck into smile
I hoovered up stuff I'm either curious about or been meaning to order in the past, so I grabbed
Accordionist's Son & Orphanage anniversary edition by Velazquez
Cinema Paradiso 30th anniversary edition by Ennio
Nunzio by Lalo
Book of Henry by MG
Canadian Bacon by the Bernstein's
Shortcuts by various composers
Free P&P too. One should treat ones self every now and then smile

Looks like they're down to one copy each of the two Piccioni's.

So who else went straight for the Upcoming Releases tab knowing damn well there'd be "No products found matching your selection"?

This is so frustrating as I still can't get into Quartet several days later. If it is an ISP problem I'm not really sure what I can do as I doubt Richard Branson will be interested in the fact that I can't access a soundtrack site.

Is anyone else still unable to get past the Magento error page?

There seems to be a lot of posters highlighting their inability to access the website, but no details. I used Google Chrome (Windows 10 operating system) and I have had zero problems when accessing the new website. The new website has not opened properly on a number of occasions when I accessed through Safari. I hope this of help.

Delighted to report I now have complete access to the new Quartet site, so I hope it's the same for the others who had similar problems.
