I agree. A couple years ago when my copy of the big 15CD Star Trek box arrived, one of the CDs snapped in two when I removed it from its case. LLL sent me a new one, free of charge.
Bottom line, Matt, MV & co. go the extra mile to assure customer satisfaction.

I stopped ordering from Intrada as they had on more than one occasion sent me a broken Rio Lobo, a cracked Gwangi and a damaged True Grit. I asked LLL to put extra bubble wrap for my Krull and Braveheart discs (which they did) and I got them in perfect condition (Im in the UK). So I second your comments regarding those lovely folks at LLL. INTRADA hope you read these boards!!!
My recent purchases from Intrada have all come in boxes (not a cardboard or bubble mailer) with bubble wrap so the discs have come undamaged. Only complaint is that I don't love the "cut" of the tray liner which seems to be a little bit short on the left spine always. Not a biggie, but still not a highlight either.
Ive gotten cracked cases from everyone. Movie Music sends them in a cardboard box with bubble wrap yet there's usually one chipped or cracked CD case in the box. The plastic is brittle and the PO is rough with delivery. Not a lot can be done about it. Anyway much love for LLL!
Hey guys, has anyone received their KARATE KID PART II replacement disc yet, I'm still waiting for mine.
I did. Sent them the email requesting it, and told them to just send it with my Lethal Weapon restock order that was due to ship out on the 9th instead of wasting postage on two shipments. It arrived in a slim jewel case with that order, as promised. Haven’t listened to it yet, though. Still not sure what the error was on the first disc, tbh.

Well that's just great. I filled out all the information they needed for a replacement copy, I received an e-mail saying they would ship it out soon, that's was almost three weeks ago.

They are always quick to get in-stock stuff shipped and the packaging shows they care that jewel cases arrive intact (unlike Varese who uses a third party that makes sure whatever is ordered arrives damaged).
I've contacted them a few times when I've been picky about booklet condition and they have been quick to send me another.
There was one time I did have a broken tray with a 2 disc case and for a replacement case they sent me the Caprica soundtrack! Here's a replacement case.... and a full 2 disc soundtrack to go with it.
Nobody else touches them when it comes to package/art design (Intrada isn't far off). I have bought some releases almost solely due to the art design! It can at least push me over the top. I like everything about it - the choice for cover art, the use of actual title logo on the spine, the images on the discs, and the booklets... there is an amount of effort in La La Land packaging that just hits every sweet spot for me. They can make something that isn't normally a "must have" and make me want to order.
And if we want to get into the KKII replacement discs, that is really another great example. I don't recall seeing anyone in this forum even notice anything wrong before a replacement program was announced.

Hi Solium! The audio was Dolby TrueHD 48kHz on the defective discs, and Dolby TrueHD 96kHz on the corrected discs.
I'd like to throw my "what's wrong with the Karate Kid II discs?" hat into the ring. I can't find any confirmation of what's supposedly wrong. Can anyone enlighten me?

Hi! On the FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 3 3D version the opening credits didn't come out of the screen properly. On JASON GOES TO HELL (unrated cut) there's missing snapped wrist gore in an uncut scene. And on JASON X there's missing audio during a scene in the film in which Jason kills camp counselors in a sleeping bag. But there is a replacement program.

Also, the USPS is moving extremely slow lately. My last two orders from Intrada and my current LLL order have all missed their delivery date. Wyatt Earp shipped last week and was supposed to arrive last Saturday. It's still listed as "In Transit - Arriving Late". The Intrada orders were about two days delayed.
So even when LLL gets the KK2 discs out in the mail, you might still be waiting longer than usual.

What was the issue with the original discs? I cannot find the original thread and the search function has not been helpful.
I don't think there was an original thread for the replacements. La La Land said there was a minor issue for all discs purchased before 10/27 and offered a replacement. Still a mystery what the problem with the original disc was. It's obviously as minor as they said it was if no one has been able to figure it out. Very few people have the new disc, (I feel like the only one who does and I haven't listened to it yet), and since no one knows what they're supposed to be looking for there aren't any comparisons yet.
