Hello,

sorry to do it this way. I tried to contact Buysoundtrax on different ways (for example sending E-Mails to info@buysoundtrax.com) but never got a reply.

I ordered four different CDs and I received CDs but only two CDs are correct and two CDs are wrong. Instead of three different CDs to a series I got one CD 3x.

So I hope the team of Buysoundtrax could send an answer. Last E-Mail I sent was Sep-29, 2020 (not mentioning the older E-Mails). E-Mail subject Sept-29,2020: PLEASE REPLY: Order #3967 (parts of the delivery are wrong)

Thanks for your time & Regards, Jürgen

Same for me Jurgen

Orders not received and no answers when sending mails.

At least two orders not received but the UPS tracking says delivered !

In fact BSX changed the address from ordering form to shipping package so it seems my orders has been sent near 700 kms from my home....One package(order 3751) has been returned to BSX but the other one(order 3900)....no news

I just received a mail from BSX saying they resend it ...I'll see(Package has been returned to BSX since September 2)...And most of the packages contains also autograph booklets..

I have another package(order 4155) scheduled for sending next week...Hope they'll send it to the right address(the one on ordering form).

It's very frustating as I ordered most of their releases.

Also the address was downloaded directly into our database, it appears that stamps.com decided to go with another addresss for some reason,we've corrected this issue moving forward.

E-mail checked

Very efficient to post here

At least you fixed the Stamps.com problem as I didn't understand why you sent orders to wrong address.

I'm not alone with the wrong address problem. Another French customer also had an UPS tracking said delivered but the package went to .... Belgium..

Hope this problem is really fixed now

I can never understand why Ford’s reply don’t start with “I am sorry you have had a problem....” and then the offer of a solution.

If customers are spending their hard earned cash with you at least reply with some recognition of the problems they have had with your business.

I want let you know that BSX resend the orders sent to wrong address (Order 3751 and 3900).

Parcel sent from California on October 4 and received here in France yesterday on October 9.

Not sure if it's just me but the service from a number of specialist soundtrack labels and retailers is pretty appalling. No names mentioned but in the last year, from numerous companies, I have been routinely ignored, had my order cancelled because items listed as being in stock had gone out of stock years ago, had emails I sent ignored which led to me being charged more for postage, had my orders missed and (despite me having paid) forgotten, with no indication of how long I would have to wait for the order. I know (as I've seen some mentioned on here) that there are good stories out there, but there are an awful lot of bad stories considering this is a niche market and these companies might expect word of their crappy service to get around. They clearly don't give a toss. One of the few people I've always enjoyed dealing with is Chris of CSC, Geoff of Backtrack and Lionel of Hillside. But I do miss the days of Dean Street records where you were treated as a valued customer, or the early days of Silva Screen when they let me browse their warehouse and always did me a good deal.

I've ordered from Buysoundtrax, Intrada, Lalaland in the last year (and a few others), and ALL of them were spot on for delivery times, quality and communication. I'm in the states and the only problems I have had is when ordering from overseas, but that's due to the covid restrictions/checks on imports that delay deliveries by over a month or two.

In the last 35 years of score orders I've had a single order go missing. I ordered the Blue Thunder score and it got lost in the mail, but the label sent out a replacement fast and all was well.

Two words, "Movie Music"! Never had a problem with his service and Peter is on top of all communications usually responding within hours if not sooner. And you can't beat the one dollar shipping.

Regarding other retailers one CD never arrived from LLL (over a decade ago) and they promptly sent me another one, no questions asked. Varese, never again after they contracted out their shipping service.

Brendon, I've noticed this as well and never understand it. It's a reflection of disdain for the customers who spend their money and expect the seller to meet the basic requirement of fulfilling their obligation of providing the goods. People want what they have paid for, not delays, excuses and an unapologetic dismissal of their follow-ups and complaints. A sincere apology goes a long way.

That said, if a seller has screwed up an order repeatedly, the answer is boycott. If you really want the release, SAE is an alternative.

I have never had any issues with La-La Land, Intrada, Kritzerland, Quartet, Tadlow or SAE. I have had a crushed booklet and cracked cd issues which were addressed promptly with lightning speed and an apology.

I'm afraid, as far as my experiences go, that SAE are the absolute worst, and I don't buy anything from them now. I've recently had problems with (Not very) Elite Soundtracks......mainly lack of communication, which is the problem with a number of the retailers. I've only twice had dealings with Intrada and Varese and they were fine.

ugh. Don't get me started on Elite.

Takes orders for items that aren't in stock. Goes completely quiet until you get paypal involved. Pages and pages of bootlegs on the site. About as far from Elite as you can get I reckon!

We're a bit low on options of course in the UK. I used to buy a lot from SAE. But when things started getting intercepted more with customs charges I began buying from Music Box. You pay a bit more maybe, but it still comes to less than it would be with customs on top.

Them and directly from Quartet, and obviously now the new international Varese shop. Nothing but good things to say about them all so far! Well... I did get quite a snippy response once from Quartet about a question I asked. But we all have rubbish days! Every other interaction has been spot on.

Also bought from Tarantula, and Chris' Soundtrack Corner. All great service. And I don't think any of the above have ever ignored an email! (Other than "Elite")

I haven't purchased from SAE in a bit so can't relate. However, it is frustrating and one bad experience can be a deterrent.

Intrada will always be my favorite. I've been buying from them for a very long time. Started with albums , and then on to cds. Never a failed order, always polite, professional and ready to help if needed.

Yes, my last order with Elite hadn't come through after a month, so I contacted them to ask what was going on. No reply. So I went via PayPal. This time I quickly got a response, which was that one if the CDs was put of stock and they were trying to get it. I said, fair enough, happy to wait, I just like to be kept informed.

I have had emails ignored by Quartet and Music Box, but I still tend to order via Music Box as there are many good things about them. SAE have been very disappointing with regards to the customs charges. I wonder if, post brexit, us Brits will get customs charges from European countries.

And BTW I was told from an ebayer in France that the UK is no longer classed as Europe (as far as postage) but 'the rest of the world' and so postage to the UK will be higher.

I wouldn't touch Elite Soundtracks. I can't believe they advertise on FB.

Unfortunately, I am also an unhappy customer. No response to emails for months. My order number is 3595. I was hoping to not have to post here....

I didn't want to use the FSM board but with no response to emails...

Posting here is very efficient and combined with PayPal resolution center, it works.

All is fine now with BSX. Hope it will last..

I bought most of their releases (the autographed booklet is always a welcome bonus) but I still don't know why their customer service is so bad(Overwhelmed by producing, shipping ...??)

Never had any problem with other retailers(La la land, SAE, Intrada, Music Box, ...)

Good luck
