La La Land Records: I am pretty sure some time ago I said that this title was canceled. You did, here; now, don't ask me to find the thread, s I'd have a better chance playing Pick Up Sticks with my buttcheeks.

We have one that goes back to 2008! As with all the studios we work with, we would come up with an initial "Top 10 titles" we wanted to release. Once we started working with one of these studios, we thought title #5 would be fairly easy to clear, but it wasn't. We kept starting and stopping... putting it off due to legal complications. Then, in the Summer of 2012, we got the go ahead to go full steam ahead with this project. We planned on having out it for Black Friday 2012. HOWEVER, a huge monkey wrench was thrown into our plans once again so we had to delay the release until the powers that be finally worked out all the details that were never worked out. Now, this year, I am happy to say all details have been worked out. This Black Friday that coveted title of ours is finally coming out. The saying is true -- "All Good things come to those who wait." So, 4 years of starts and stops followed by two more years of waiting for approval! lol MV Tales from the Crypt? ;-) I am pretty sure some time ago I said that this title was canceled Weird! That's one detail I can't remember knowing. Well, that puts one to rest. :-)

Ronin or Silence of the Lambs... (in response to LLL's cryptic tease about their Black Friday release).

And the Herrmann score I will be re-recording in just a few weeks will now also have a re-release just about the same time I wanted to release my recording... a case of bad timing? Indeed. Wouldn't it make more sense to switch and record something else that's ready? It would even make more sense to do Blue Max...by the time all the work is done to get it out as a whole package, at least almost a couple years will have passed since the LLL reissue (it might even be sold out by then...it's low quantity). Though not ideal, that certainly seems better than having the Herrmann come out around the same time as the original tacks. Though some (like me) are "both/and" others unfortunately are "either/or". I wish you'd done the Ten Commandments too (and conducted, since you have a way with Bernstein). I would have happily owned both an Intrada restoration and a complete new modern recording which might include music Bernstein wrote but didn't record. Yavar

MV, can we get an update on two possible mystery titles mentioned in 2012? In a thread you mentioned two 5CD box sets coming (in a box): 1. X-Files volume 2 (4 discs, in a box) 2. Another 4-disc title (no box) 3. A third 4 disc set (no box) 4. 5+ disc set (in a box) 5. 5+ disc set (in a box) Scanning over the lsit of LLLR's titles (at en.scorepedia.org), I see "Lethal Weapon" and "Friday the 13th". Was "Lethal Weapon" one? "Friday the 13th" was released months before your quote, so it doesn't count.
