Happy New Year to all at LLL.

Any possibility of a flyer for January?

Nope.

I have no clue as to when stuff is coming out. May not have anything until February or March.

This sounds rather ominous. What does that mean for our beloved soundtrack labels, when they are uncertain when anything is being released? For the consumer, we just hold on to our money until there is something to buy. But from the labels standpoint of making money and running a business...? frown

Any chance for a complete Top Gun (1986) score by Harold Faltermeyer this year?

Considering the sequel is coming out, it seems like the perfect opportunity even for Paramount

Thanks

How about an expanded Conspiracy Theory (Burwell)? big grin

I'd rather have debut releases of some of his other 90's thriller scores, like Bad Company and Fear.

Could we be moving to a MOD- cdr distribution?

This is not a sky is falling approach. We just felt that, after doing this for 17 years, we need a little time to breathe and catch up on things in the beginning of the year....inventory, taxes, reorders of Out of Stock titles, etc...

After that last Black Friday batch you guys have enough great music to listen to for the next month or so.

We will most likely have something out last week of Jan...first week of February.

We may just do a batch of releases every 4 to 6 weeks. We understand that shipping costs are killing you guys, especially overseas, so we are trying to come up with an alternative plan that helps you guys out and keeps our lights on every month.

We have some fantastic titles in the pipeline. Lots of Universal stuff coming out -- expanded editions and never before released titles. We have a few remaining Fox titles still to come as well as stuff from Sony, Paramount. MGM, CBS and Warners. However, we don't know how many more Warner Bros titles will be coming out. New owners have caused new policies that may be cost prohibitive for all future planned and unplanned projects we have been working on/interested in. These things happen. We have been around long enough to see policy changes every 10 years.

In the meantime don't fret. We have some great titles coming from new and old composers. We plan on being around for a long long time.

Thanks MV, a batch every 4-6 weeks would really help out us international customers, most appreciated!

The ‘Disaster Movie’ and ‘ST: Voyager’ sets are keeping me more than entertained for the moment and I look forward to this year’s releases.

That’s a shame, and like the Sony Music sub-licensing situation I hope it changes back again, down the road. I presume The Adventures of Batman and Robin is still coming out eventually, as it was included on a poster of yours earlier this year. But I fear for Walker and co.’s fine work on The New Batman Adventures, or the long-discussed big expensive Superman TAS Vol. 2 box coming out, at this point. frown

Do you still have those couple titles in the pipeline which were sublicensed from Sony Music before the moratorium took effect?

I’ve also been ready for a complete SCARFACE as well.

Speaking of CBS, wasn’t there supposed to be another WILD WILD WEST set being planned?
