What, the King Kong, yup, it's a nice looking Blu-ray. If only there was a good looking Blu-ray of The Last Valley. Another great looking French Blu-ray you can't get in the US is The Phantom Of The Paradise (both are multi-region). I always check France & Germany, that's where all the interesting Blu's are being released these days.
Can you confirm the BR is a longer version than the US cut?
Does it have the longer bar scene where Bridges says "we'll always have this monkey on our back - we'll never be able to look each other in the eye if Kong dies..."

No I don't think so, I just had a look at the bar scene & it's very short, & doesn't have that dialogue.

I think people can stop worrying about not getting their copies of this, Wild Bunch or pretty much anything, for that matter, cos they will all come out again sometime soon, from another soundtrack label. Of this I'm sure! Maybe Kritzerland will put out a 6CD set of Kong and Wild Bunch for the price of an orange!
