Congrats on securing this gem, Amer! It was and is certainly high on my own want list, but there was no way I could afford it. Not then, not now. Same with the Bernstein box.

Thanks guys. But Let me get my hands on this win once Lukas finalises the whole thing ! It will be quite some time until it reaches me.

Finally, this gem is in my hand. Thanks to Lukas Kendall for this opportunity via the FSM CD Sales gig!!

P.S The most expensive purchase Ever!!

I'm really surprised an FSM old-timer like you didn't pick this up ages ago, Amer! It was available for quite a few years. Glad you've got it now, though -- one of the crown jewels of my collection, an absolute treasure trove.

I keep mine in a vault. You'll have to pry it from my cold....

Yeah, I'm tempted to keep mine in a vault under heavy guard.

Hahaha. Yes. One of my most prized sets, along with Bernard Herrmann at Fox at the very top of the heap. While I consider Spartacus to be a bit of overkill, there is no way I would ever part with that beautiful set.

The Holiest of Holiest's would be a Hitchcock Herrmann complete, original recordings, box. I would pay real money for such a set, Danny Elfman box money in fact.

I lucked out grabbing a sealed copy of the Rózsa box! I spent nearly $600 for it, but it's worth every penny obviously.

I'd probably faint if such a Hitchcock/Herrmann set came to light.

Thanks Yavar, I know. By the time I was going to order this they decided to pull the plug at 1500 units and it sold out quickly. My order got cancelled from SAE. Then a year they found some limited extra sets in their archive and by then I judt couldn't afford it anymore.

But I'm glad I got it all brand new and sealed.

Absolutely every last penny. And yes, I would also faint.

We all worked so hard on this and we're proud of the results!

I never intended it to be an insane collectible.

You guys know we have a copy at www.fsmcds.com right now we've priced at $395?

https://fsmcds.com/product/miklos-rozsa-treasury-1949-1968-2/

It's $750 at Discogs, and $1000 at eBay!

I wouldn't sell mine for $1000. $10,000, well maybe... The FSM Rozsa treasury, the FSM BEN-HUR set and the FSM MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY set are my 3 most prized film music possessions. (Intrada's Bernstein/Ava set is way up there too.) You guys done some great stuff! Doug too.
