It could be worse (still waiting for Gorky Park and some other stuff from Kritzerland, 115 days elapsed from shipping. A Guinness world record).

contents, and ladies and gentlemen there you have silver Mark Snow's autograph!

"In the meantime, one thing I did notice right away is that my copy has black trays, obscuring the wonderful tray liner pictures. This is easily remedied by replacing them with clear trays but just wanted to let you know that if you have black trays you're missing even more of the incredible layout the LLL folks have done."

Mine has clear trays!

Weird. Okay, so it was just a one-off for me. Maybe they ran out of clear trays at the plant. In any case, they've got clear trays now and look amazing! smile

I got my shipping confirmation on May 11th, and here in Canada I'm still waiting. Argh.

One customer in Holland is still waiting too, I am not able to check disc 3 for this mentioned skipping error aswell, so hoping there is still a replacement available if the set arrives (I hope it does very soon!)

Received "SOCOM 4" today. Was greatly surprised to find an autographed booklet enclosed. Based on the order numbers, I thought I'd missed out. Listening to the album now. Having too much fun waving my arms around.big grin

Mine also shipped on 14th May, and only just arrived here today, so I wouldn't be unnecessarily concerned just yet.

Very good Clooedo.
Now you need Lone Gunmen and Millenium (unless you already own them).

When I bought the album I was too young and naive, I didn't knew the difference between Album and OST big grin at least it has a nice cover razz

The Foo Fighters song is quite nice, if I recall.

Giving the set my first full listen-through (unskipping <3 ) and loving every moment of it. It's also really great, as the set is comprehensive and chronological through all nine seasons, to see how Snow's (and the show's) sensibilities progressed and in some ways matured throughout. Say what you will about the latter seasons of X-Files, but musically they were tremendous.

Been revisiting this set recently, the weather over here turned the landscape into foggy Vancouver territory so it's very appropriate. smile I keep returning to the first two discs as they sound to me like 'hardcore' x-files scores. Discs 3 and 4 almost play like a spoof on it, though there are some effective cues on disc 4. The discs are very indicative of the way the show lost its edge along the way. Honestly I find disc 4 a test run for "I want to Believe" which is IMO a better representation of Scully's struggle with faith and makes the x-files theme exciting again.

Anyone else revisiting these against a fall backdrop?
