I started to lose interest in Zimmer around the time he did The Dark Knight. This is when he moved away from thematic music and into his minimalist approach. Still, I'd jump on an expanded Dark Knight, its pretty interesting.
The track No Time for Caution was not properly mixed on the Illuminated Box edition, just put at the end of Disc 2 at the last minute. Is it fixed in this new release?

I hope so but no information other than the track list has been available as far as I know. But the fact that this specific track has been moved to play directly after "Imperfect lock" is feeding my hope.

Nope. Just moved to another position in the track list.

That is incredibly disappointing. I have the big box set but ordered this in hopes they corrected it.
Another question though: Can anyone tell me what's supposed to be the mixing problem with "No Time For Caution"? Thanks.
Hans Zimmer explained in an interview that the music he composed is what is heard on the soundtrack. However, for the film mix, the sound editors messed around and beefed it up with elements from other parts of the score.
There are a number of fan-made versions that try to recreate the film mix, but I doubt you will ever see an official version on CD.
Please be aware that the liner notes are the same as the old version. No new liner notes from Zimmer or Nolan. Quite disaponting... I bought both the LP version and the 2 cd and they are both pretty uninspired packaging wise. The cd is a jewel case and the 4 (!!!) lp's are crammed into a standard double LP sleeve and that is a very tight fit. No points for packinging there, but hey, they were cheap.
