Well, we've reached September... Unless I'm completely mistaken, last time we had a Kritzerland score release was exactly one year ago (a great one, btw). I'd love to hear some soothing news... please? Mr. Kimmel?

I’m happy to have a number of great Kritzerland titles in my collection. They have given me a lot of pleasure.

Yeah. But maybe this time with actually new stuff rather than 20 minutes and then 5 reissues of everything released already. That would be a nice change. No one is stopping you from creating your own label and releasing what you want Petr. Only then would you realize the doors to studios are closing more and more each year and the amount of people buying physical product is dwindling. It's always best to put your money where your mouth is as you have quite the opinion on EVERY label not releasing every single thing on CD. Unless you've walked in the label shoes of Kritzerland, La-La Land Records, Varèse Sarabande, Intrada, Buysoundtrax and others then you should be appreciative of them fighting the fight to help get scores out. I will always be appreciative of what Kritzerland or any other label can release. If you want to continue to be a negative source of inspiration, by all means find another forum. And I have just put you on the BLOCKED list of Notefornote Music. We don't want your business. Thank you to ALL the labels big and small for what you do and continue to do as the CD market gets smaller and smaller each year.

Kritzerland is slated to release release Alex North's complete score from "Streetcar Named Desire," as well as Ken Thorne's complete score to "Help!" I will be first in line to buy these. Thank you Kritzerland! Is that so, or is this just wishful thinking? If this is true, kindly let us know your source.

We're still here. Not releasing much during this time was a conscious decision - I think it's been at least four month now, maybe more - I just felt and feel that people are consumed with fears right now, plus the other craziness in the world, and laying low during such a time seemed like the right thing to do for us. We will be back - we have several things in the works - soundtracks, shows, and classical. Thank to Peter Hackman for pointing out some realities. As to the Henry King box - criticism like offered above doesn't bother me in the least - the box is what it is and we're very proud of it, and more importantly, it was EXACTLY what we all wanted it to be - not only a tribute to those scores from Henry King films, but a tribute to the man who was solely responsible for ALL the Fox scores seeing the light of day, Nick Redman. We have been very busy doing our monthly Kritzerland cabaret show, which, of course, we normally do here in LA live, but we began doing them online back in early May - we've done five so far and unlike most of the amateurish junk being done, we took the time to figure out how to them the right way and we kind of became the poster child on how to do these things and, of course, now everyone is, well, what's the nicer word - emulating - what we do and how we do it. This month we did show 109, which also happened to be our tenth anniversary. We had amazing people in it, including Petula Clark. I felt that bringing entertainment, free (we don't charge, but they charities we benefit should anyone care to donate), was the right thing to do during these troubled times. If that interests anyone, here's a link to the YouTube channel where they all reside. To get back to the May show you have to click on Videos, otherwise they're all on the home page, including last Sunday's anniversary show. Hope everyone here is staying sane, positive, and as happy as is possible. https://www.youtube.com/haineshisway

Glad you're doing well, Bruce. Would you be able to share your thoughts on film scores on your label going forward, if that's fair to ask? You mention a release four months ago so clearly you're talking about other kinds of music you like to release.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I just saw Bruce's 10th Anniversary show last night and you'll be very glad if you do likewise, trust me. (But especially, trust ever-reliable Bruce!)
