The official James Bond Twitter confirmed that Billie Eilish will sing the theme song for NO TIME TO DIE. She co-wrote the song with her brother, Finneas O'Connell.
I'm super excited by this news. She's the right artist for the job. Her "bad guy" song is amazing and was perfectly used as the credit song for "Brightburn"
By singing, they mean talking, right? That's all she does.
Contrary to a lot of pop singers these days, she can sing and doesn't need autotune to hit the right notes. She's not a fraud. I don't like all her early singles and EP but her first album has some outstanding song and tunes
Hasn't been any-love for songs over 30+ years i'll give this a go. Personally I think its like Euro-vision your bound to get a stinker the general public still supports the music. Billie just a baby working her way-up all the best to her i'm sure there'll be demand after Bond.
I saw this young artist interviewed back in December and I became a fan. Her humility and attitude about her talent and fame is refreshing and so balanced. I look forward to seeing the movie and hearing her do the theme song.

Never realized how young Sheena Easton was when FYEO was released - barely 22. I haven't given any serious listen to Billie Eilish's music but clearly age is a poor reason to dismiss musical talent.
Stranger still, Sheena Easton looked even younger when she was interviewed for the DVD docs circa 2000 than she did in the time of For Your Eyes Only.

Zimmer and Stephen Lipson also contributed to the song.
If Stephen Lipson's involved it should sound outstanding. He was Trevor Horn's right-hand man at the console during the transition from analog to digital multitracks in the early 80's. The guy pioneered some digital recording practices we take for granted these days.
After listening to her performance at the Academy Awards last night, I'm confident Eilish has the talent and the voice to pull off a proper James Bond song.
