Badalamenti has kept busy with European projects, including two British films -- the romantic drama The Edge of Love, and the psychological drama 44 Inch Chest.
Despite the many Hollywood hits on his resume, Badelt has been working a lot in international cinema lately, including the French thriller Pour Elle (currently being remade by Paul Haggis as a Russell Crowe vehicle, The Next Three Days) and the comedy Le Petit Nicholas. The long-delayed Elmore Leonard adaptation Killshot ultimately went straight to DVD, but Badelt is getting strong reviews for the quirky comedy The Extra Man, starring Paul Dano and Kevin Kline.

Miracle at St. Anna, Blanchard's latest film for Spike Lee, was a deserved flop, while Cadillac Records never found the audience it deserved. 10. Deck the Halls--35
Tooth Fairy, his third film for Michael Lembeck (director of the Santa Clause sequels) is doing decent business. The Love Guru was a flop, while the disappointing Harold & Kumar sequel did decent business. The Mike Judge comedy Extract was well reviewed but not widely seen.
