Anyone have any guesses on what might be getting released? I'm truly hoping the 8CD is Lethal Weapon scores, but I don't know how plausible that is at the moment. I'm hoping for a good action score or two. I always get really hyped for this time of the year in soundtrack communities.
Intrada releasing The Hunt For Red October, La La Land dropping Days of Thunder on us, and still so much more to come.
BATMAN AND ROBIN (Elliot Goldenthal) 3500 copies THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS (Don Davis) 3000 copies POLICE ACADEMY (Robert Folk) 3000 copies TALES FROM THE CRYPT box set (Various Artists) 3000 copies

I can probably guess MATRIX and POLICE ACADEMY are definites. I believe MV has previously stated LLL is not releasing BATMAN AND ROBIN any time soon. But, it will be a happy surprise if it is in the batch.

Looker
Star Trek Voyager or Enterprise.
Please please please be Looker!!!!!!
I would love Looker. I'm just guessing. I have no idea if this would even happen
I don't know... I think Tales from the Crypt might've been more appropriate for Halloween. M.V. announced on 10/25 that the 8-disc set had been approved but I don't know how long the turnaround is from approval to in-stock. Perhaps Halloween was the plan but they just couldn't make it.
We can probably rule out Batman & Robin and Twister. We can also rule out anything Star Trek - there will be more Trek titles in 2014.
And per M.V.'s recent comments, we can DEFINITELY rule out Beverly Hills Cop, Alien 3, Harry Potter, The Last Samurai, the Dark Knight trilogy, and the usual Varese suspects.
A few random possibilities: -Lethal Weapon (a good candidate for the 8-disc set) -Ghostbusters -Film Score Monthly titles that are now OOP (The Towering Inferno, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, etc.) -JFK (part of WB's 90th anniversary and coincidentally it's the 50th anniversary of the assassination) -The Adventures of Baron Munchausen -Flatliners and/or Falling Down

I was just going to post the same thing! Fingers crossed.
I asked about a JFK expanded release earlier this year. The info I got from the board was essentially that what was on the CD was all that Williams wrote. Apparently, he wrote the pieces in advance of the film being completed and Stone cut the film to the score. I don't know the film well enough to assess if this is accurate or not, but this might preclude an expanded release.
Now, if Born on the Fourth of July on the other hand might be another story...
