Ron, follow these steps.

1) When you find the photo you want to post, put the cursor over that photo. Right-click your mouse and a pull down menu will appear. Click on the word "Properties".

2) When the Properties menu appears, look in the center of it and you will see the URL address. Highlite the URL with your cursor and right-click your mouse again. Click the word "Copy".

3) Now come back to the FSM thread where you want to post that photo. When you're at the place where you want the photo, type in the brackets [ ] and type the letters img between those brackets (the brackets should touch the img letters). Then right-click your mouse again to the right of the first set of brackets and click "paste" on the menu.

4) When the URL address appears there, again type in the brackets [ ] at the end of the URL but this time type /img in between those brackets. Again, the brackets should touch the letters (no spaces).

5) Lastly, you must delete the http:// at the beginning of the URL address. If you do not delete it, your photo will not appear when you post your message.

To my dear friend neo:
MY favorite photos are always the ones YOU put in your gloriously entertaining threads! I have nothing to contribute here (so far), but I for one would LOVE IT if you turned THIS thread into one like Montana Dave's "...well, it caught my eye", and simply continued to add your wonderful images that I can then snatch and keep in my iPhoto library!

PLEEEZ, neo?
PLEEEEEEEZE?

"Woman on a Pedestal"

Forgive me, Gordo, but my first thought upon viewing this image was "texting on the toilet."

As fer your kind komment, Jenk - and you gotta know you're in a mighty minority 'cause it's long been an article of irritating frustratingly non-faith 'mongst the legion of anti-neo-phytes in FSM DISAsseembled tis those very 'rococo' offerings they definitively distaste in the ever-lasting extremis, to which we humbly say razz razz razz -

tisn't a monumental mystery a'tall. Google, Yahoo, Bing and others all have their Images option - and that's where we go to play (heck, wait'll our OWN web-site goes up next year and we'll really overdose - rily!). And, contrary to some misconceptions, it doesn't take overly long to put 'em all together: once we have the general idea, all that's left is fitting the appropriate pix for whatever subject's under scope.

Sneaky and subtle-as-a-matrix-A-bomb, no?

Adam B: Thanks for the detailed advice, but, because I have a Mac computer, not PC, it seems to be a bit different and that doesn't work for me (when the cursor is on top of the pic and I try a right click, nothing comes up). Sorry. (Later) However, I WAS able to save a VHS cover and, following your instructions, successfully pasted it in another thread. But still can't do the same for my own photographs.

Ron
