Fab deal and well worth it. Been watching them all recently (finished the first 7 seasons, just started the 8th aka New Columbo), including a lot I'd not seen before. Much more my style of show, use brains and not brawn to solve the problems and no general violence beyond the murder.
I've been watching Columbo on MeTV. Blast from the past and a great series for an awesome price. Sadly I have to pass as LLL and Intrada are releasing a lot interesting stuff right now.
I got this for my mom as a birthday gift the last time Amazon had it as the deal of the day and it wasn't shrink-wrapped even though the condition is listed as new and sold by Amazon (the discs did look new though). I'm wondering if these are specifically made for Amazon's "deal of the day" and they don't shrink-wrap them as part of Amazon's "frustration free" packaging?
Just a FYI in case you are giving as a gift. Amazon also packaged the set in a box that was too big so the disc cases bounced in and out of the slipcover during shipping without the shrink-wrap keeping them in.
To this day, the best series of its kind ever made. Wouldn't it be a dream if they had included iso music tracks?! Ahh well. Who knows what the future will bring.
