I just ordered the film on Blu-Ray the other day, didn't even think about the soundtrack - haven't seen it in years, just remember Vincent Price for once being the bastard he's usually supposed to be...looking forward to the score as well now, thanks...

Thanks for your enquiry. I'm sorry to hear that you and the rest of the online soundtrack fan forum community are frustrated with the Witchfinder General situation.
We have just gone through a change of distributors which resulted in the miscommunication of release information on the web. Basically the old distributor informed all the stores that the soundtrack was now 'deleted' (before it had even come out) which has caused much confusion!
We have now secured a new deal and can once again get the ball rolling on this wonderful soundtrack. You will not be disappointed...
As for a release date I cannot be specific, but I can promise it will be out before the year ends, hopefully on both LP and CD with extensive artwork and sleevenotes.

Hi, I work for De Wolfe's new distributor and I can 100% confirm that the Witchfinder General soundtrack will be released on 25th November 2013.
I have a copy of the album in my hand, it comes packaged in a digipack and has a really informative booklet.
You can pre-order the album via the following Amazon link or you can order it from your local record shop (there's still some left) quoting catalogue number DWCR005 and ask them to order from Proper Music Distribution

I have the UK Blu and believe it to be the same as the one in the Price collection.It does have the Ferris score.....
