There is a chain in the Midwest called DOLLAR TREE and everything is a dollar or less as it should be.In the big apple there are plenty of stores where they only charge a dollar for everything. Those stores are honest, no games with words. dan the man is quite correct about DOLLAR TREE. There is one of these in a strip mall off the Route 3 corridor near my apartment here in New Jersey and EVERYTHING in that store is one dollar. Bulk paper products, party supplies, stationary, a large selection of household cleaners, packs of batteries, housewares, and even frozen, boxed, and canned varieties of foods. All of the items priced at one dollar each. It's a fairly busy place. I notice things. It's ironic how you don't see too many junkers parked in the lot in front of that particular store. But you will see quite a few high end BMW's, Cadillac's, and Acura's.

We have Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar House and Dollar General. But Dollar Tree is the only store that everything is for $1.00. There are a few things that they charge a $1 for that you can get at Walmart for less.
