I can almost hear it now...the Microbial Symphony in Ewwwwww! flat.

The perfect holiday gift for the living composer who has "everything"..

By the Way, does anyone have a photo of the Gene Simmons "KISS coffin"?

I remember that he was selling it a few years back. It supposedly is also a refrigerator cooler for beer and soda.

Yeah,

And it looks like you could could store quite a bit of leftover trays of veal and peppers, and meatball parm in there as well.

Hey Anz, Gene Simmons is starting to look a little like Shatner in that photo.

I dunno Max.

To me, Gene Simmons looks more like Steven Van Zandt as Silvio Dante in "The Sopranos".

Yes. Looks like everyone associated with the creation of that opus is now decomposed or decomposing from waiting until the "payoff" at the end.

Indeed. It also appears that everyone associated with the creation of this opus were decomposed or decomposing long before they even recieved the deliveries of their back ordered Kiss coffins.

We have missed commemorating Bernard Herrmann's 100th birthday on this thread.

Without him and his great film music, about 99% of the illuminating posts on this thread would never have been possible.

I raise a cold glass of sparkling 7up in his honor.

Someone on this board should write a song like they did with Rock and roll heaven a big hit for Bill medley, with film composers.

Had Franz Waxman lived to be 71, he might have done a bang-up job on STAR WARS.

We used to think of guys like Alfred Newman as "old" when he died.

The guy was only in his late 60's, but all the smoking and stress did him in early too.

He seemed a lot older than he really was.

Both of these videos certainly belong on this wacky old thread. Substitute the names of a dearly departed film composer or two, or four, and there you go. All three of these guys in the two videos look and sound like they could actually be members of this board.

These folks better not quit their day job, because their night job doesn't have a bright future.
