"He Died With a Falafel in His Hand"? LOL. I must investigate that title!

That's one of a number of books and movies I ended up familiarizing myself with only because the titles were fun or intriguing.

Mulholland Drive for sure; I just got the blu-ray last week and rewatched it and it remains as powerful and unsettling as ever. Also, best composer acting ever! smile

A great year ! Took me some time to narrow it down to "five" titles...

So, my 5 favourite films of 2001, not including the obvious out-of-competition status for
Miyazaki's SEN TO CHIHIRO NO KAMIKAKUSHI and Lynch's MULHOLLAND DRIVE are :

    A.I. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
    DONNIE DARKO
    L'EMPLOI DU TEMPS
    THE OTHERS
    VA SAVOIR
    (The 4 hours-long cut)
