Kritzerland at Sterling's presents SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS! The Songs of the Sherman Brothers.

I just saw last week the David Shire Kritzerland show and it was down my alley absolutely. Songs I'd give a passing glance at done better than the originals! I literally laughed and cried, they hit so close to home. Kritzerland does this stuff the best I ever have seen or heard.

The Sherman Brothers I wont even bother pushing. The first Sherman Bros. show sold out in 2 days.

This one will sellout in no time.

It never will happened because it'a business that evolves around many factors but in a perfect world for fans wouldn't it be nice if there was one cd compilation that had every song the Sherman brothers composed. Just those fleeting thoughts on how easy it would be to examine a composer's history.

I'm definitely coming, and I think it's close to selling out. Even Peter Hackman will be there.

Oops, we sold out yesterday. I've been trying my damndest to tell people not to wait on this show. Put yourself on the waiting list and I'm sure you'll get in. There's also a possibility we'll add a matinee as we had to do two shows ago.

I called and gave them my info.

My goodness I'm so so upset. I can't tell you how darn busy I've been and I've had a posted note beside my computer for a week about this. Fingers crossed me and my dear friend Edwin Wendler can get in. He's a newbie and I know he'd LOVE this and he's a composer!

Back from tonight's show. These thing's are worth their weight in gold. There is Richard Sherman, less than 20 feet from you singing a dropped song from MARY POPPINS, and then joins you back in the audience. Don't know why none of you guys take advantage of these terrific extravaganzas but that's okay, I will continue to.

Oh yeah, have to talk about 13 year Sami Staitman and the medley Bruce Kimmel put together to torture children. She sang "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious", "Fortuosity", "Substitutiary Locomotion" and "Gratifaction" back to back. She survived. So did Hadley Miller who did a duet of "Let's Get Together" from THE PARENT TRAP with Bruce Kimmel after Guy Haines was , again, a no-show ( I don't know what Bruce sees in him). And continuing along with my childhood memories, Tom Hatten (who hosted Popeye cartoons throughout my youth and provided the voice of Farmer Fitzgibbons in THE SECRET OF NIMH) and Gene Kelly's wife Patricia were around me in the audience. Geesh, these shows are SO friggin' fun.
