Ok, we already knew about Halloween 5.
It's here - http://buysoundtrax.stores.yahoo.net/ha5reofmimyo.html
Another title - FRANKENSTEIN UNBOUND by Carl Davis. Samples are rather nice, it's on my radar now wink

Any sign of Zulu Dawn from their last batch of releases?
They said it was shipping about a month ago. Then they said it would ship last week because of a screw up. Anyone received it yet?

Why would I e-mail you? It's bad enough to see you reply to a post of mine here, but the thought of receiving personal e-mails from you is far worse. I know you cannot be trusted with private or personal information.

I asked folks here if anyone has received Zulu Dawn yet. I wasn't addressing you and I have nothing to ask you.

As someone who's worked in the world of public assistance for over a decade, I can assure you that your attitude is the kind that guarantees I go out of my way not to help. You most certainly deserve all the belittlement I've see attached to your name over the years.

So you can be a dick about it in more threads than one?

I actually just rewatched FRANKENSTEIN UNBOUND for the first time in almost 20 years. Really liked the score, but I just shot my fiscal wad on DAY OF THE DEAD.

Hopefully this'll hang around for a while...

FRANKENSTEIN UNBOUND is a nice, traditional symphonic score - for a hopeless movie. Halloween 5 - the film got the score it deserves.

It's been one that we really wanted to do for a very long time.

I'm a huge fan of Carl Davis and there are some wonderful recordings that need to be in the marketplace.

Two projects that HAVE TO HAPPEN

1.) HOLLYWOOD (That title theme is one of my all time favorites)

2.) THE COMMANDING SEA LP
Contains suites from "The Commanding Sea", "Fair Stood The Wind For France","The Old Curiosity Shop" and most importantly "Oppenheimer"

We can never have enough Carl Davis scores.

Sounds like a Patrick Doyle score.

Or perhaps it's the other way around?

Patrick Doyle was at the very start of his career as a film composer when FRANKENSTEIN UNBOUND was scored

Carl was already had 2 decades of scoring history by the time Patrick started.

Carl Davis knows how to do it. Frankenstein Unbound at last. I'll buy most any Carl Davis, this is a nice surprise.

Patrick Doyle worked on another Frankenstein film, he does seem to have a composititional style dynamic in the same dimension as Carl. Maybe Carl is Patrick's mentor?
