Had same problem with both sites, first early this morning, around 2-ish, then later today.

Just now, I was unable to access either on on my home Apple, kept getting this other site, which all of you have described. Sent an e-mail to Ed at SAE, to see if it was my computer of the sites, themselves, as I was able to access other sites without difficulty. Then, seconds later, I was able to get on here, and also at SAE.

Go figure.

I had that same problem with this site. First it would show some page - presumably a parking page from their host.

A few minutes later I could access this site.

A few minutes later back to the parking page.

Now I can access it again.

Must be a problem with their host provider.

I just clicked on my bookmark for the forum and got the Network Solutions page as well. I hit refresh, and after a brief lag it reloaded and the forum appeared.

First time it's happened for me.

This has been going on now, on and off, for at least 11 hours. I first became aware of it over 7 hours ago, and it has come and gone, with it taking me -- and everyone else -- to the wrong site. And despite assurances that it had been fixed, just now it took me over 10 minutes and maybe 30 attempts to log back on after being away 3 hours. How many others are just giving up after, say, a dozen unsuccessful attempts???

Guys, SAE would like to officially state:

This morning a large band of severe thunderstorms moved through the area and caused outages and problems with not only our internet provider, but also the Screen Archives and FSM websites When the system was restored, we were unable to connect to our remote severs. There will be another temporary hiccup on Wednesday when we upgrade equipment to insure that we don't have this problem again.

Lukas:

But it's STILL happening, twice in the past 15 minutes for me.

I just posted this at a similar site that I started hours ago:

I FOUND A WAY TO GET AROUND IT!!!

I had finally managed to get to this site, but, 5 minutes later, after trying to go to a discussion, it took me back to the bad site. But by chance I found that if I clicked their DOWNLOAD MUSIC on the upper right of their page, it brought me HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Um, I would not click on ANYTHING on some phantom page.

Guys, please be patient. These types of domain name issues take time to resolve as different parts of the Internet "talk" to each other to find out where everything "is." Just hang tight.

This is actually a normal thing on the Internet when a company changes servers--especially domain name servers. Please relax. This may continue intermittently for up to 48 hours and possibly longer. I have had something similar happen to one of my websites when I changed hosting providers. If their hosting provider was having an electric outage it is possible they are rerouting servers/changing servers/replacing servers/etc.

It might even continue intermittently for a week. Just chill folks. The music is still out there.
