One of my beloved movies...

Featuring one of the best Debussy's music rendering ever.

Featuring a song composed by Bernard Herrmann.

Had Ronald Reagan had a crush for someone when watching this movie ?

A movie in black & white.

A movie in green.

A movie in technicolor.

And those who had the chance to watch it when it got released must have enjoyed the image enhancement on some sequences...

Interestingly enough, the image on this thread is not the same as that of the aforementioned portrait, itself, as seen in the final, Technicolor shot in the film. In that, she's looking down to the right of the frame. Not smiling outward, as if she's promoting orange juice....

Amazing, how ads often change images for greater promotion.

No doubt, the image of the painting as it is was considered too, you'll pardon the expression, downcast....

Chickenhearted, could you post again that gorgeous picture you posted once. You know, that large and high resolution of the portrait ?

I thought I had saved it on my computer but can't find it...

Thanks in advance !
