Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced that it will release eight classic films on Blu-ray through its "Voice Your Choice" campaign on December 3rd. The films have been digitally restored and transferred to Blu-ray for the first time. All titles will be available for purchase through Foxconnect.com on December 3rd.

Anyone know the list price of these releases?

An uncut release of CALL OF THE WILD might be worth the upgrade on BR. I have the cut version on dvd and the picture is fine. I can imagine only a slight improvement on BR . Now JESSE JAMES - that early Technicolor film I look forward to - also one of my favorites- THE GHOST AND MRS MUIR.

I will not purchase the cut re release version. Not sure why fox went ahead with this knowing an alternate version is available.

I don't know that the original release version IS available. I assume it was lost in some fire.
