There's a few internet reports the last couple of days, IGN being one, that FURY ROAD may be great! Apparently someone at Badass Digest spoke to an insider who saw a rough cut and said it was awesome! They also said the reshoots aren't reshoots, but shoots to extend action sequences. They also said Warner Bros. was so impressed with what they saw they gave Miller the money to do so.
I thought I remembered reading a few weks ago about the reshoots not being reshoots, too, and not even added shots, but rather shots that were planned originally, but funding ran out or something.

The film is starting to come together really well! Hopefully we get a teaser trailer in a few days from Comic Con. Who else here is excited for this film?

I'm excited, but I'm still kinda bummed that Mel Gibson won't be in it.
Hi Thor! I have a feeling Gibson will still have a cameo or narration in the film as a surprise. But even if he doesn't Hardy should do a great job, he's a great actor. I think the most important thing is that George Miller is writing, producing and directing the film, it's his show. I think the film takes place between MAD MAX and THE ROAD WARRIOR btw.
Amazing. Can't wait. I noticed in the credit the actor who played Nightrider in the first Mad Max is also in this one (he's wearing the skull mask). I wonder if he's supposed to be playing the same character?
