SON OF DRACULA-43-Much underrated classic with many assets including wonderful moody sets, great music score , a dominant performance from CHANEY JR AS Drac. A fine performance of a besiege hero by ROBERT PAIGE. Plus one of the more emotional endings ever.
THE ASPHYX-72-Another underrated small gem with a great premise, fine acting, literate script solid tech credits, great main theme , and a deep emotional vibe throughout. Dig the ending.
MIGHTY JOE YOUNG-49-A unique classic with early RAY HARRYHAUSEN effects that were wonderful. which included the classic ape, cowboy battle. Direction and acting are top notch as well as other tech credits, Film has heart and is exciting entertainment. The conclusion with the fire in a children's orphanage tugs the heart with deep emotions. Timeless.
WOLFEN-80- Although more then most, modern technology might have now made this film look not as exciting as when I first saw it in the movies in 80. It still has a unique feel to it with great photography and effects, solid acting and a very enticing story and plot. A winner.
RED PLANET MARS-52- Always loved this PETER GRAVES film . Great story, with a great premise, ok tech credits and a wonderful touching ending. Remake please.
