TCM aired the 1952 film "Never Wave at a WAC" (Rosalind Russell, Paul Douglas, Marie Wilson) over the past four or five days.

I recorded it, as I do many films I've never heard of, just to hear the opening titles.

In this case, I struck paydirt: Score by Elmer Bernstein.

Earliest Elmer I've heard yet. Not a great score, but has touches of what would become the Bernstein "voice".

What a coincidence -- today I discovered a new Bernstein credit, too.

I was checking out the music for an episode of Jacques Cousteau and IMDb had John Scott down as the compsoer for the episode. But that was incorrect and Bernstein was credited with the score, as well as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Not often you see the orchestra credited in the end credits for a TV series!

I submitted the changes to IMDb. Second time this week I have found an inaccurate listing on IMDb for a TV series episode score.

The episode, if you are curious, was "Calypso's Search for the Britannic". I was taking some tiem to click on a few episodes to check out the music and submitt missing composers to IMDb.
