THE MAN FROM UNCLE---first photo of Henry Cavill as CIA agent Napoleon Solo from the movie based on the 1960s NBC spy series. Armie Hammer, Jared Harris and Hugh Grant also star.




CARSON THE MAGNIFICENT---NBC miniseries underway based on the upcoming biography of Johnny Carson. The biography "covers Carson's three decade career on THE TONIGHT SHOW, his childhood in Nebraska, and his often secluded off-camera life and friendships."





THOR: THE DARK WORLD---poster released of Jamie Alexander as Lady Sif.





STAR WARS: EPISODE VII---director JJ Abrams commented on the movie, "I would say we are working really hard to make a movie that feels as emotional and authentic and exciting as possible. Whatever your favorite Star Wars movie is and how to compare it is really sort of subjective.” Also, David Oyelowo (THE BUTLER) auditioned for an undisclosed role, and Michael B. Jordan (CHRONICLE) met with Abrams to read for an undisclosed role.

MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.---official synopsis of Episode 2

"The Asset" – When the brilliant scientist, Dr. Franklin Hall, is kidnapped, Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents must race against the clock to locate him. Skye is their only way in–pushing the team to their limits when the entire plan turns upside-down."

JUSTIFIED---Season 5 will have Raylan taking on another backwoods crime family led by a man named Dale. Also, Jere Burns was promoted to a full cast member.

BONES---David Boreanaz released a photo about Seeley and Temperance getting married which shows Emily Deschanel in a wedding gown posing behind the wedding cake.





ARROW---photo released of Summer Glau in a recurring role as Isabel Rochev.





COPPER---BBC America cancelled the series due to low ratings.

GHOST PROJEKT---NBC series underway based on the graphic novel in which a UN weapons inspector and a Russian agent team up to pursue thieves who stole supernatural artifacts from a Russian weapons lab.

MURDER IN THE FIRST---TNT ordered 10 episodes of the Steven Bocho cop series which features one murder case per season. Season 1 deals with the murder of a drug addict who is connected to a Silicon Valley mogul.

KING TUT---Spike TV six-part miniseries underway about King Tutankhamun who ruled Egypt in the 14th century BC.

THE AWESOMES---Hulu renewed the series for Season 2.

THE LAST VAMPIRE---movie rights to the book series have been bought.

THE COBBLER---Adam Sandler is in negotiations to star in this movie about a cobbler who "has the ability to metaphysically step into the lives of the people whose shoes he repairs."

THE DINNER---movie underway based on the Herman Koch novel with Cate Blanchett as director.

FLAWED DOGS---DreamWorks Animation movie underway based on THE SHOCKING RAID OF WESTMINSTER, the first book in the series.

They really should get Dana Carvey to play Carson. His SNL performances as Johnny were SPOT ON!

These guys crack me up. What does the part in bold even mean? Just lots of "exciting" words strung together that means nothing.

He could say something like, "To be honest, I never really was much of a Star Wars fan . . ."

The life of JOHNNY CARSON seems like an interesting project. I wonder what actor could play him?As for THE LAST VAMPIRE[NOT POSSIBLE] not in the film industry.
