Going . . . Going . . . 6 copies left @ SAE

Actually I'm surprised this didn't sell out long ago. For anyone who has this score that was included in the 2 CD set "Maurice Jarre Trilogy" The sound quality is vastly better on the new release.

Is this still available anywhere? Had to wait until my paycheck came in today and now it's gone.

Anyone?

Edit: Intermezzo Media appears to be the only outlet that still has copies. Placed an order there.

I know this man also has a lot of detractors on this board but to me Jarre really was one of the very best. This is such a well written and beautiful score it just breaks my heart sometimes. Together with 'Zulu Dawn' by the equally great Elmer Bernstein these scores have been playing non stop in my CD player for the last two weeks. Now that's what I call great film music! Thank you Music Box.

If only some label would release his gorgeous music from the movie, RESURRECTION.

I agree!

Re: "If only some label would release his gorgeous music from the movie, RESURRECTION"

Funny, but after downloading theTadlow set of "Lawrence Of Arabia" yesterday with its 2nd CD with selections from some of Jarre's other scores, I was listening to the 3.25 minute "End Credits" from "Resurrection" but just couldn't get into it, and just now made it through its entirety. Hope the rest of the music for that film is more interesting. As for the Tadlow "Lawrence," it sounds glorious!
