With respectful apologies, Zoob, wot's Wrong is the insistence from the Directors Guild to sanction that insulting tag at the beginning of a movie in the first place (as if it's an inherent automatic right few have actually earned other than having the 'power' to insist upon it in their contracts).
And there are just as many Directors who see it as perfectly applicable also.
That's when we always remember to put this infantile nitwit nonsense into proper perspective with William Goldman's (paraphrased) observation,

It'll never happen (unless wee do it on our own) but wouldn't it be wunnerful to sometime see a salutation at the beginning of a flick that went:
