OK, honest opinion of that footage, I love Desplat's music in his career, however very typical music, no LAVAGNINO, BUTTOLPH OR ASTLEY.The scene itself to be dead honest, if one has watch even just a few of that type in the past few decades, nothing special. Matter of fact when they showed the water rising it look like a few of those disaster movies made on the tragedy of 2005 in the far east. It is what I feared, more money, same jive,no unique vibes. But as I always say. like or dislike as you will. Let's not forget the sequence as well with GODZILLA in 98 when it makes it's first attack on the city. Now almost 2 decades later. Hollywood just seems to be afraid to be unique anymore.
Well of course not the whole score but that sequence [which apparently is a major scene in the film. I think we all know when it comes to observation of anything, the mind has a certain amount of ability to start to get a vibe of the issue at hand. I would be the first one to say not completely there can be at times surprises hiding in small things. But I also would be the first to say like love at first sight we often get a notion and feeling early on what often is an answer later on . It's the wisdom of the mind, the thing that keeps the business world going. I will give you 5 minutes tell me or show me what you got. From Wall street to a film distrubuter. We all know that.

I think it's very cool that the film will have a title sequence designed by Kyle Cooper, who also created the titles sequences to SE7EN, the original Spider-man trilogy, The Walking Dead, and number of other films, and it will all be set to the music of Desplat.
