I don't eat while watching a movie and try to sit where others aren't either.
I see quite a few films at The National Film Theatre in London, where eating is banned.
I've also heard the NFT also cuts the eating scenes out of the movies they run, so no one will get tempted. Is that true?
The film industry's Motion Picture and Television Academy theatres over here in LA don't allow eating in their auditoriums either. So there's no sticky drink residue on the floor to stick to your shoes on each step, no squishy wet chocolate drips on the seats, and no pepperoni or tomato slices stuck in the seat cushions. Somehow it takes the fun out of going to the movies---and is probably also un-American.
