I can't seem to find the piece of music at the beginning of this clip on the Intrada release. Anyone know why it wasn't included?

Wasnt Telescope just tracked a few times? The TT isolated score is sheer bliss.

My guesses: Missing master, degraded master...or oversight. Nice bit; pity it's missing...but glad you discovered it.

Not sure if this was addressed in the liner notes, but I also wondered about the synth growls that accompanied 'Telescope' when Scully notices "The Indian" watching what we then think is Gloria Revelle's "self help routine." I'm guessing they would've had to be re-created as an overlay...or that the presentation--exactly where and how to place them on the album--was a tough nut to crack.

The TT Blu-Ray is amazing if only for the iso score.

Anyone extract it yet?

Yep, it's a shame the isolated track is missing. There's some similar theme starting at :18 of "Bad Girl; Loneliness", but that's about as close as it comes.

Yes, I noticed that, Mr. Vyse. If it IS a case of a degraded master or a lost cue, I wonder where they got that bit of music for the isolated track on the TT Blu-ray. Hmm...

The Blu-ray is superb, by the way. A beautiful restoration of a great film.

Hi Ryan,
I recently ordered the Body Double TT Bluray and it will be a while before I receive it. Really looking forward to the isolated track, particularly for the scene you have asked about. The first minute is a nice piece of music and as you correctly point out, doesn't appear on the Intrada release.

I just re-read the liner notes and this quote on the last page caught my attention - "All of Donaggio's Body Double music is here, including the source cues he wrote specifically for the film".

Anyway, good of you to notice that missing music.

The YouTube clip at the top is now defunct. Is that the music we hear right after the detective tells Jake he is the reason Gloria got killed and he is on the bed spinning around? Because that's missing on the CD and it's a shame.
