The samples from Roberts's site sound nice. Although I can hear the evil robot motif from Beltrami's I, Robot in Forest Ambush.

It's lush like some of the broad fantasy scores we used to hear. Some "Drums of War" samples here and there, but this effort is far from the droning, numbed out sound we've come to expect from post 9/11 films. The score has Themes! Plural! Loads of strings and chorus. Imagine a cross between Hellboy and Debney/Kaska's LAIR! Looking forward! Sounds like you haven't heard a lot of scores to call all of them droning with no themes. How's the movie?

This has probably already been said, but how bad is this movie that it got delayed to ANOTHER January? Yes, February, but still...

ok... the score has so much to offer... Prologue leaving home order of whatever-the-hell-what training montage story of the witch Attack on the City Forest Battle The Final Confrontation (the whole 13 minutes or so long sequence) I Must Go Alone and End Credits! If you liked This is the beginning, the finale of The Wolverine - this is so much better! And there is an actual End Credits Suite too featuring some bits and moments I don¨t remember from the rest of the movie - including playful and very catchy final piece of the movie - think of something like Dance of the Robots mixed with Motorcycle Chase from Indiana Jones III. Brilliant stuff and of course... still UNRELEASED! :-/ One of my top choices on my "looking forward to in 2015"-list! It will be released... right?
