Good news indeed, this along with the Cabal Cut of Nightbreed getting a release gives me hope one day the original cut of Exorcist III will see the light of blu-ray. wink

It's one of my favourite films of all time. I think it's simply brilliant, and almost accidentaly so. There was some hype about "newly found footage" a few days ago (the stuff that Sir Chris says is buried under a motorway), but there's really nothing new here that we haven't seen before, except improved image quality.

Still, wonderful film. I'm proud to be one of the cult, the cult of those who have visited all the locations where the film was shot, had a pint in the bar that features prominently... proud to be one of the "Wicka Wankas"!

I always liked that movie. I really liked the line where EDWARD WOODWARD tells CHRISTOPHER LEE, Next year when the crops don't grow they will sacrifice you. What comes around goes around.

Apparently Scream Factory are doing it in the US, but I fear their blu-ray will be region locked so I'm hoping Arrow Video will get the rights to release it in the UK. Anyway, it's great to see a release like this actually happening given the studio said there was no demand nor interest; I think the numerous screenings and outcry has proven them wrong considerably!

This film has the distinction of being one of the very, very, few films where the name 'McCrum' appears. As Eddie searches through the school register for Rowan's name, 'McCrum' appears on the roll.

At some point the McCrums dwelt on the Isle of Skye.
