I like Robins releases (well most of them anyway) and thinks he is trying to do as best as he possible can in a tough world among soundtrack enthusiasts and he has released some fine stuff and it´s to bad that he has gotten on the bad side from the other labels as they all should benefitt from each other instead, but that is not my thing to judge. I´m greatful that he has given us stuff like The punisher, kickboxer, Bloodsport, Runestone, Puppetmaster, Red Sonja etch (the list goes long) and i´m eagerly awaiting what his big 80´s grail is and when it will be released (I think it´s my grail HIGHLANDER and that he tries to get both Kamens and Queens music released as complete as possible smile )
Anyway, i hope he will continue to release more things and I don´t take sides (I´m only a consumer *LOL*)

YOR did not know that his "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" is from Perseverance.

So, yes, YOR praises Perseverance!

And, please, you guys who produce soundtrack albums, stop fighting among each other, specially on a public forum!

It is not cool!

So said YOR!

I have several of Robin's releases and they are all fine. I particularly like the Chinatown release.

Keep up the good work, mate.

I like all the Warner reissues I missed out on. Love the old art and stuff.

I hate Rain Man. Wish he didn't do that one. Very disappointing.

Thank you for releasing RED SONJA, THE RUNESTONE, REMO WILLIAMS and SLIPSTREAM.

Exciting scores all.

Also, while it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea, I, personally, find there's much to enjoy in Michael Perilstein's THE DEADLY SPAWN.

First the nice words: They did an excellent job with Slipstream and a very good one with Unforgettable.

Red Sonja, a title I wanted for a long time, was a half a disappointment due to the corny and amateurish artwork they used, something that, unfortunately, seems to be a constant in this label. I refused to buy the Runestone (although the music is quite good) because of the horrible, lazy and totally bootleg-like cover, in the hope that, someday, a more professional label will do a better job.

Add to that some defective releases like rainman and you lose a lot of confidence in this label. They seem to be able to do great and professional realeases, it's just that they aren't always in the mood to do it

I have nothing but praise for Perseverence. Any dealings I have had with them have been honest, and courteous. Delivery has been fast and reliable.
I have been pleased with the presentations of the scores I've bought. I don't buy everything so I'm not familiar with what appear to be the emotional flash-point scores for people. There were no issues with sound quality on the products I've bought.

That one thread got a bit out of hand, reminded me of all those discussions about Zimmer. So I got to wondering, does anyone have anything good to say about Perseverance.

I've only about half-a-dozen of their releases. Red Sonja was good enough for me released as such. I was happy when I read that Rain Man was coming, but the sound quality was a disappointment. The most important thing for me was Corigliano's rejected score for Edge Of Darkness.

Unfortunately I don't have much praise for this label. But if you have, please, post it. For me, Perseverance is maybe kind of a half-assed label. But that's probably because, and you might want to check this on google translate, half of the word literally means 'ass' in Finnish (perse = ass).
