The movie is a doozy. This is a great haunted house/ possession film that develops it's character and mood. And trust me, the best scares and fright scenes are not in the trailer.

This will more than likely hang with you well after the movie is over and you will not want to sleep above the covers. smile

By the time it arrives in theaters in Belgium (release date 11 september!?!) the weather will have cooled down plenty for me to not consider sleeping above the covers big grin

I'm envious. wink

Looking forward to seeing it. After the ultimately disappointing SINISTER and the pretty good INSIDIOUS ( who'll ever forget 'that' scare!!) this one sounds like a winner. Even the score was giving me the creeps and that was listening to it in a well lot office !

I highly recommend TURBULENCE. I haven't seen the film and was unfamiliar with the music, but what an exciting treat it is. Excellent album packed with great tunes. Don't miss it!

As do I. The promo made it seem slightly disjointed, but there is some really lovely development in there. Especially this infamous rape on Carol of the Bells, which is being deformed and transformed into Dies Irae (in reverse to what Williams' did with Home Alone). Some really well executed suspense (at places very aleatoric stuff), and really almost over-the-top action. Fun 77-minute ride.

TURBULENCE is the best new (old) release that I have come across this year so far. Great action music by Walker. I had seen the movie many years ago on DVD, but did not remember the music being that good. The CD has proven that it is a great score. Thanks La La land! I need to listen to WILLARD, I have misplaced it.

Still waiting for Turbulence, which was ordered on release date, to arrive. La-La Land has been kind enough to send me a second copy two weeks ago. Hopefully it will arrive within a few days.

Aww, Turbulence is awesome! Watching the film for the first time now (get it on Netflix streaming! ) & it's so energetic, thematic, percussive. ...and upfront. I figured Walker was doomed fighting plane efx but she held her own, nice loud mix. Not the greatest film ever, but entertaining enough. All the score things we old guys love here....

I feel confident in predicting that anyone who has been eating up Walker's BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES scores will absolutely not regret picking up both TURBULENCE and WILLARD.

Playing the Turb cd now...excellent stuff, nice mix & very well done notes, John. I like how you did the sometimes dull (depending on subject! ) play by play cue writeups, nicely done!
