Am I the only one who prefers the second [film] version of Dance And Angela?
Whilst I like both versions of “Dance with Angela”, I give the nod to the original version. Aside from being the template from which the other was cut, it has that dramatic brass burst transition to a wonderful section of velvety strings, harp glissandos and piano. I also like the film version as it incorporates a wonderful swelling at the end. It’s great to have both to contrast, compare and enjoy!
Personally I'm hoping Bruce will eventually sic Mike Mattessino on Fox's Prince Valiant so we can get a perfect complete stereo version with no wow. Same goes for Newman's Prince of Foxes which is missing a decent amount of music which I hope can be saved (and if with new technology that missing Prelude cue from Captain from Castile can also be saved, it would make a great bonus cue!)

"Who says they can't?"
Some people have said there is little at Paramount before 1950, and even the 1950s and 1960s scores may be missing many cues. That said, I'll take ANY incomplete golden age scores, the 60s too etc. I would love to see The Furies and Nevada Smith especially. But you never know what the labels might be working on. In fact Bruce has said a Victor Young CD and another golden age CD are both coming shortly!
