Any of Disney's direct to video sequels. Kronk's New Groove, 101 Dalmations 2, 102 Dalmations, Cinderella 2 & 3, Tarzan & Jane, etc. I feel my brain dying when I think about them.

Any of the Star Wars prequels. Way to ruin my youth Lucas!

Quantum of Solace. After Casino Royale this was a huge let down. (Even if it was better than World is not Enough and Die Another Day. Gag!)

Does OZ the great and powerful count? If so, that was 2 hours I'll never get back.

Oh, I forgot about the Star Wars prequels. Honorable mention. I still haven't gotten over Jar Jar Binks. Me so pissed.

And another I forgot: "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Nuked Fridge". Sorry, I meant "Crystal Skull". ;-)

"Alien 3".

"Matrix: Reloaded" (featuring what I still deemd some of the msot Godwaful, fucking horrible end credits music I have ever had the displeassure of hearing)

And from what I've seen of "Matrix: Reloaded", it apparently gets worse.

Justin - I so nearly agree with you!!! I would put Nemesis ahead of First Contact and Insurrection (with the latter bringing up third place) but Generations is still my favourite of the Next Generation movies.

HALLOWEEN 3 - Loved the score, but the movie is just flat and stupid.

- Oz

Generations was like waiting in the dentists office for a root canal. It was excruciating. First Contact was the best NG film.

See all you Generations lovers in the dentist office later!

If I didn't say it before: "Jaws 3"
OMG! Watch out! A giant playdough-looking shark is attacking! I have a hard time deciding which is worse, this or "Jaws 4". When you're at a point where you have to decide which awful films as the least worst elements, you've hit a low point in sequels.

Did I mentioned "Star Trek: Nemesis"? Oh, wait, I did. Well, I'm STILL pissed off about it all these years later. And I want my money back.

Oh, and:
PLACE CARD for the next Indiana Jones sequel.

Nemesis is surely flawed, it needed a more capable director. I think it is a solid looking picture though. And they were aspiring for some serious questions there, destiny and fate and such, perhaps the script did not get there, but I respect the reach they were making. The series should have ended on a happier note for sure.

The Jack Ryan series. Hunt For Red October was a fabulous film. The series just wasn't the same without Alec Baldwin. He owns the part! Further more, the other stories just weren't "Hollywood material. I personally like films that set the stakes high, and are visually interesting.

We always agree, someday we won't.

In any case, your are totally right;

Red October, easily best picture of the series.
Empire Strikes Back, easily the best Star Wars picture, by a mile.
