So, I was crashing out on the beach yesterday, and I thought some about the OP. I think the two film scores that probably represent Americanism in its purest form are: 1. Stagecoach; 2. Fort Apache. Both scores are largely based on old American folk songs.
I realize the fellas probably want something specific to the 4th, but I hope everyone can kinda latch on to my perspective here. Anyways, peace, and enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend.
