Suppose you like going out dinning in various restaurants.
Suppose that 9 out 10 restaurants you visit have this same really annoying asshole waiter, who ruins an otherwise enjoyable dinning experience 9 out of 10 times.
Suppose there is a forum about restaurants and waiters.
Would you rant a lot against said asshole waiter on said forum?
Or are you gonna be quietly stomaching the shit treatment you get from said waiter?
I would shut the fuck up and move on with my life.

As much as I like dinning, if my enjoyment of the overall dinning experience were THAT affected by one waiter, (i) I'd find a more productive way to spend my time, and (ii) I'd wonder who had the problem.
All of that said, sure I might get in a few potshots on a message board. But then I'd realize I'd rather be talking about something else, anything else, good or bad, then this asshole waiter. Because what a waste of energy that would be. I mean, if your beef is really with the waiter then your fight is with the restaurants that keep hiring him, right? Not screaming at and belittling all of the other dinners who continute to eat at the restaurant.

Hans Zimmer is the nemesis of all good film music. His influence is pervasive and poisonous, his talent non-existent, which is the worst combination one could ever think of. His music appeals to the easily pleased, people without an education, i.e. today's core cinema audience. I'd like to offer a counterpoint. Hans Zimmer wouldn't even know what counterpoint is.
But still he's more successful than you. Oh, the irony...

Really? So the fact that I like much of Zimmer's music and yet I also love the scores of Goldsmith, Williams, Barry, Herrmann and E. Bernstein is somehow not possible in your view? And that I also love Beethoven, Stravinsky, Shostakovich and Wagner? Here's some reality for you - it's actually possible to be a person who likes Zimmer's music and others that are all of disparate styles. Yep, that's called being a complex person who can enjoy many different styles of music.

Your argument is perfectly logic.
But, then again, stealing from Ennio Morricone and other composers and making music through a "make yourself a movie score" software cannot be called "style"...
In this case it would make more sense if you said: "I like to eat a Bic Mac now and then and I love to eat french cook, but I know one is trash food and the other is refined meal".
