Alot of good ones, but I will go with SOMEWHERE IN TIME-80- BARRY. One of the great scores of all time.

Goldsmith did not really score "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" - it was a case of the editors using cues from other Goldsmith scores for the series.

We were referring to Twilight Zone: The Movie.

I love The Omega Man too, and Jerry Goldsmith's various scores, and of course Herrmann's brilliant Farenheit 451, but I have to go with John Barry's Somewhere In Time as my vote.

I really like James Newton Howard's I AM LEGEND.

The film's shite, though.

Mixing together adaptations, original screenplays and whatnot, I'll just lump the following together as all equally great -

(FALL OF THE) HOUSE OF USHER by Les Baxter - Brilliant score. What a heart-stopping moment when it was actually released on CD after years of being deemed lost. Great film too, and full of wonderful Matheson lines.

PIT AND THE PENDULUM by Les Baxter - On a par with USHER in every way - script, direction, and score. Wish this Baxter masterpiece would suddenly appear out of the cobwebbed catacombs, long-thought dead but merely cataleptic.

THE OMEGA MAN by Ron Grainer - This is a fan fave, but you might have to have lived it first as a kid. Love it.

SOMEWHERE IN TIME by John Barry - Lovely score, lovely film.

Somewhere in Time was my first thought....and when will we get a bluray of this wonderful film?
