a tirade of CGI and noise. The soundtrack away from the film makes for some great listening, especially the second cd of sketches.
My main complaint is lack of real heart and the great chemistry that Reeve and Kidder had. By dispensing with Clark the timid in love with Lois who doesn't realise he is Superman they have diminished the one great thrill those characters give
So very disappointed. And it is so dark. I always try to see films more than once to give a proper balance to my opinions (and in 2D and 3D). This film is so dark that i have fallen asleep at the very beginning for 45 minutes two viewings in a row.
the 1978 version is just so superior.
