As Angelillo points out, the film we know as MEET ME IN LAS VEGAS, with Dan Dailey and Cyd Charisse, was known internationally by its foreign title, VIVA LAS VEGAS.
THAT, of course, led to later problems when MGM made VIVA LAS VEGAS, with Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret, about 8 years later. To avoid confusion, THAT US title was then changed, internationally, to LOVE IN LAS VEGAS.
So......MEET ME IN LAS VEGAS is VIVA LAS VEGAS and VIVA LAS VEGAS is LOVE IN LAS VEGAS! 
Got it?!!!!
(As far as I know, IT HAPPENED IN BROOKLYN and SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE are still IT HAPPENED IN BROOKLYN and SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE...... )
